Style: A quality of imagination and individuality expressed in one’s actions and tastes
Fashion: The popular trend at a given time
Fashion changes every season, and whilst it’s great to be current it’s not necessary to follow every fad. I have a passion for style and being on trend makes me feel very confident, however, I will choose pieces with a classic potential. This means that it never truly dates.
Below are my recommendations of items that will always set you apart. I will always show you how to inject life, colour and just the right amount of fashion to make your style pop. Every wardrobe should have these pieces. You can then introduce trendy accessories and colours to create a confident outfit.
A Mac is a great addition for every wardrobe. It’s also great to have a darker coloured knee length tailored coat. There are classic cuts, but I also recommend trends here as they are often Sure To Return STR, for example the military coat.
Invest in tapered and wide-legged trouser. Tapered works best on a slim build. The wide-legged trousers gives balance and flatters the curvier figure. Looks great with pointed stilettos or flats.
Dresses and Skirts
The Wrap dress is a classic piece created and made popular by Diane Von Furstenburg. It is an easy option to create a flattering outfit. Looks great with stilettos.
A knitted dress is also a perfect addition to the wardrobe. Wear with ankle or knee length boots in autumn or winter.
The Pencil Skirt – a Narrow fitting skirt which can be as a separate or as part of a suit. It goes well with stillettos great day to evening transition. It’s also perfect with flats and ankle boots for the more daring.
Boots and Shoes
I recommend a classic knee length boot in black, grey or brown. These colours usually work with anything. Please note, I do not recommend wearing these boots with shorts please, please don’t.
You should have some heels but you can be just as awesome in flats. Invest in pointed and rounded toe.
This is not an exhaustive list, but it’s a great start. Please let me know how you are getting on with renewing your wardrobe. Please post your questions or email me at the email@example.com.
